Grounds for Dismissal!!

UNITS
Fundamental Units
- Define Describe and differentiate between unit of measure
- Determine which are fundamental
- Come up with a standard to describe a certain amount of a quantity
- Ex. Distance
- fundamental-"Yes"
- Description-the amount of space between to points in a linear plane
- Standard-1 foot - the length of the foot of the king of England
- note: this is a standard but it has some serious issues
- Read and post to the blog
- Come up with a standard for each of the 3 quantities discussed in class listed below
- POST as a reply to each one
- Create an organized chart (using a ruler) to put the name of the measurements the standards symbol and unit of measure. Chart should take up entire page and be hamburger not hotdog in your notebook. 5 columns and 7 rows!
