  1. The corn picture is obviously sci-fi, but society plays a role in science by trying to alter a future reality by playing God to determine what will happen to the world in a distant future, when in reality, we cannot control anything that happens to us nor can we foresee the future as to when or even if these events that are made into sci-fi even exist.

  2. Science fiction is the goat/spider thing.
We wouldn't even have society if it wasn't for science to begin with. People have had needs and others have come up with them in science, engineering, etc. In the past religion was the science of society, but it has slowly evolved away from that and today people in religion and science often disagree.

  3. The corn with the eye is science fiction. Society's role in science puts limits to it because people are always saying what is ethical and what's not. Some experiments that would prove beneficial to society are considered unethical like some kinds of genetic engineering.
